A planned electrical power outage in the Potlatch area is scheduled for Saturday, June 25 from 8AM to 6PM. This outage is necessary for infrastructure maintenance by both Avista Utilities and Clearwater Power near Potlatch.

A planned electrical power outage is scheduled for Sunday, March 27 from 8AM to 6PM. The outage is necessary as the Idaho Transportation Department has requested the relocation of multiple transmission poles in two locations along Highway 95 near the Potlatch junction.

[POWER OUTAGE UPDATE ] Much progress has been made but we still have a long way to go. Daylight is giving us a clearer idea of the scope of the damage. There are many downed trees and multiple broken power poles. We are requesting aid from neighboring utilities. We still have a long way to go.

Areas affected: Tensed, Desmet, Emida, Santa, Sanders, St. Maries, Farmington, Garfield, Fernwood, Clarkia, and surrounding areas.

510 members in the Kendrick & Juliaetta area will be out of power from 12:45PM to appx. 6:45PM. The cause of the outage involved a vehicle - no injuries were sustained and our crews have already begun making repairs. Be safe out there ; )
