What is the Youth Rally?

Each year, the Idaho Consumer-Owned Utilities Association hosts a Youth Rally, a five-day leadership conference for high school students. Clearwater Power will be selecting and sponsoring 6 students to attend and join more than 90 other students selected by electric cooperatives in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada and Utah. For five days, students work on leadership, teamwork, cooperation, and communication skills. It also promotes an understanding of the utility industry and in particular, public power.

The Youth Rally leadership camp will take place July 6 -10, 2026 on the campus of Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho.

The Youth Rally is sponsored by the ICUA, Clearwater Power and other participating utilities.

Application Deadline: April 1, 2026
