Job Description
We are seeking applicants for a Director of Engineering. This is a full-time, exempt, staff-level position responsible for managing the engineering activities of the Cooperative and supervising the engineering personnel, consultants involved in the system planning, and design for the Cooperative.
Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and programs including Microsoft Office Suite, GIS, and line modeling software. A minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, a current Professional Engineering License in Idaho and Washington or ability to obtain these licenses, and four (4) years of experience with a rural electric cooperative, utility, or related field is required. Completion of NWPPA’s Frontline Leadership Program desirable but not required.
