Lewiston, Idaho — The Board of Directors of Clearwater Power has named Bob Pierce as the cooperative’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Pierce brings more than 30 years of experience with Clearwater Power, having served in a variety of leadership roles, most recently as Chief Operating Officer. His deep understanding of the cooperative, its employees, operations, and the communities it serves positions him to lead Clearwater Power into the future.
“Bob has spent his career supporting our members and helping move this cooperative forward,” said Gene Butler, president of the Clearwater Power Board of Directors.
As CEO, Pierce will lead the cooperative’s continued focus on providing safe, reliable, and affordable electricity for the communities Clearwater Power serves.
“Clearwater Power has a strong foundation built by generations of members, employees, and leaders,” said Pierce. “I’m honored to serve in this role and look forward to working with our employees, our Board, and our members.”
Clearwater Power is a member-owned, not-for-profit electric cooperative serving approximately 12,800 accounts in rural Idaho, Washington, and Oregon.
