Growing up in the Lewiston area, Tristin loved riding horses. She rode as often as she could. She says riding horses has always been therapeutic, peaceful, and a great way to detangle life and explore nature. “It’s a thrill every time you ride,” she says.
A few years ago she began riding again but this time, she added a twist. “I started barrel racing and roping cattle,” she says. Both require skill, stamina, and quick thinking.
Fittingly, also enjoys working on puzzles. “I love solving problems, it’s a great feeling,” she says.
Tristin has a strong professional background in finance and accounting. She’s used to handling lots of information and figuring out how to make sense of it all. That experience will help her in her role as member services representative at Clearwater Power. If you call the cooperative, there’s a good chance that Tristin will be the one who answers.
In this role, she will handle customer requests, payments, answering a myriad of questions, and helping people manage their accounts. She says “I look forward to understanding the power industry.”
Tristin and her boyfriend Jacob enjoy trail rides, camping, hunting, and spending time outdoors. Their home is not far from the rivers, mountains, and woods that make this area so beautiful. “I like the small town atmosphere and new beginnings.”
