Youth Rally Scholarship & Leadership Camp

Large group of students jumping up into the air in front of a building.The Youth Rally is an annual scholarship competition and leadership camp where students learn about teamwork, cooperation, and communication skills. It also promotes an understanding of the electric industry. Six local students are selected from our service area to join about 80 other students at the College of Idaho in Caldwell, Idaho. Most students are from Idaho but many also come from Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming. The scholarship application period is open each spring (Mar. 1 – Apr.16)

Co-op Classroom

We visit any public or private school groups in or near our service area. Sessions last about 45 minutes and include lots of interactive experiments. Call (208) 743-1501 to schedule an appointment.


4H / FFA Sponsorship

Young girl standing with a cow, holding a trophy.The co-op offers a $50 sponsorship to youth that have completed an electricity project or a 4-H/FFA marketable livestock project.

  • Applicant parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must be members of Clearwater Power Company
  • The sponsorship is limited to one livestock project and one electricity project per year

Each student may receive up to $100 from Clearwater Power if both a livestock project and an electricity project were completed.
