Give Help. Get Help

Helping Hands was created to assist families with unexpected emergencies who have exhausted all other resources to pay their energy bill. Helping Hands funds come primarily from member donations.

The funds stay in our service area and are disbursed only to qualified recipients by Community Action Partnership. Contributions are tax-deductible.

Here are 2 easy ways for you to help others with their energy bills:

Round Up to the Nearest Dollar

Many people just round up their payment to the nearest dollar and indicate they’d like that portion to go to Helping Hands, that’s all you need to do. You can do this on your paper bills or when paying online.

Capital Credit Donation

Some people choose to donate their annual capital credit retirement directly to Helping Hands. These funds make a tremendous impact for those who need assistance.
